President Chakwera has structured the labour sector in such a way that it prioritizes job creation, particularly for youth, and improve working conditions through labour law reforms.
Problems to be solved
Increased the minimum wage from MK50,000 to MK90,000 per month
Expanded the tax-free band from MK45,000 to MK100,000 to enhance disposable income.
Filled 9,661 of the registered 18,330 vacancies
