Addressing the congregation, President Chakwera highlighted that education is both a gift and a responsibility. He said the graduates’ success was made possible through collective investments by their families, communities, the church, and government. “Your education is not just for personal advancement but a call to serve Malawi. The knowledge you have gained should be applied in building businesses, creating opportunities, and uplifting others,”he said.

He further reminded them that their achievements are part of the country’s broader effort to create a new generation of leaders who will steer Malawi toward progress and inclusive development. President Chakwera also commended Nkhoma University and the CCAP Synod of Nkhoma for their role in nurturing leaders through faith-based education, describing the institution as an important partner in human capital development. He concluded by encouraging the graduates to honour their parents, communities, and the nation through service, integrity, and innovation, stressing that Malawi’s destiny depends on their choices and contributions. The 10th Congregation saw hundreds of students graduating in various disciplines, marking another milestone in Malawi’s pursuit of education-driven transformation.
