CREATOR Building - KUHeS

The Clinical Research Excellence and Training Open Resource (CREATOR) building is a landmark facility at the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS) in Blantyre. Inaugurated in August, 2024, by President Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, CREATOR is designed to revolutionize health research and postgraduate medical training in Malawi and the broader Southern African region.

CREATOR is a product of a 30-year partnership involving KUHeS, the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, the University of Liverpool, and the Wellcome Trust.

The CREATOR building stands as a testament to Malawi's commitment to advancing health research and education, positioning the country as a leader in medical innovation in the region.
