Mzuzu Civic Complex

Two years into his tenure, the fruits of President Chakwera’s strategic focus on developing the green city of Mzuzu were already evident.

In order to improve service delivery by the local government managing city affairs, construction works of the modern civic office started in February 2022 and there has been satisfactory progress.

When completed, the new structure will improve the city council’s operations and service delivery to city residents, businesses, visitors and all stakeholders.

The construction stage itself has created thousands of jobs and off-shoot business opportunities for young people in Mzuzu and the entire Northern Region.
